Software Validation Engineer I (or II, depending on experience)

Position Description:

The position of Software Validation Engineer I / II is responsible for tasks in the testing phases of the Software Development Life Cycle of product development, including the technical writing of Software Quality Assurance testing documents. They will also assist developers in the writing of software testing documentation according to FDA guidelines. Ensuring proper Development practices, validation, and release in order to assure the quality of software is essential. Our Standard Operating Procedures will guide the creation of such documents. The documents will detail the actions a tester must execute to prove that the software under test is functioning correctly.

Other Responsibilities:

• 1 Work within our Project Management system to keep everyone informed (including customers, if applicable) of progress on projects


• 2 Travel (both domestic and international) is required to execute software testing documents at the customer’s site


• 3 Assistance in User Manual preparation


• 4 Troubleshooting on an as needed basis for all H&A Scientific, Inc. applications


• 5 Keep up-to-date and accurate timesheets


• 6 Speak, write, and read technical and non-technical information effectively


• 7 Work effectively in unstructured and structured environments


• 8 Demonstrate ability to multi-task and respond to a variety of interpersonal tasks and requests


• 9 Work within a team of professionals in a way that supports a positive outcome for customers
